REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
Bourne Recreation Authority
Leasing the Store @ Bourne Scenic Park
Bourne Recreation Authority is soliciting sealed proposals under the provisions of Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws to contract and operate a Store at the Bourne Scenic Park - 370 Scenic Highway - Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 - for the period of approximately May 14, 2012 through November 3, 2017 with the potential for an extension of an additional five (5) years (seasonally) at the sole discretion of the Authority.
The premise to be leased is approximately one thousand two hundred sixty (1,260) square feet. The Authority has determined that the RFP process is preferable because it allows vendors to suggest ways to support the needs of a busy campground by using comparative factors in addition to price. Proposals are due by Monday, January 16, 2012 at 12:00pm. Interested parties are encouraged to arrange a site inspection prior to the above referenced deadline.

The Authority is soliciting competitive proposals pursuant to a determination that such a process best serves the interest of the Authority and the general public. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, modify, or amend with the consent of the proponent, any proposal prior to acceptance, and to waive any informality, all as the Authority in its sole judgment and discretion, may deem to be in its best interest.
